New to Notts: A Lammas Gathering

Nottingham has so many amazing makers, artists and independent businesses and I always look forward to any kind of event in which they all get together, whether it’s a craft fair, market or open studios. But when I spotted a post for A Lammas Gathering on Instagram I knew I had to get in touch because it was going to be something really special.

12 – 7pm

£1 donation on entry to go to Nottingham Women’s Centre

A Lammas Gathering is a collection brands, focused on sustainability and slow commerce/making, all owned by women. Some of the more well known businesses on Nottingham’s independent scene will be in attendance, alongside businesses from slightly further afield and some new start ups.

Some of my favs include the lovely Green Haus Plant Shop whose plants are scattered all around my house and the fab Dohm Shop who hooked me up with the best baby skincare products at the Primary Christmas Market (although they will be there with mainly homeware, art and pottery). Elder & Wild will also be there with their gorgeous seasonal flowers which are grown right here in Notts.
